May Makhzoumi (b.1952) is a Lebanese philanthropist, activist, social worker and speaker. She is the president of Makhzoumi Foundation, a foundation for empowering the community.[1][2] She is the wife of Fouad Makhzoumi, a Lebanese billionaire, politician, and founder of National Dialogue Party.[3] She earned Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the American University of Beirut (AUB).[4] [5]

Education[edit]

Received the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part 1, Scientific, in 1970, from Al Makassed School, and in 1971, received the Lebanese Baccalaureate Part II, Experimental Sciences, from the International College in Beirut (IC). In 1975, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the American University of Beirut (AUB).[6] [7] [8]

Career[edit]

A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. May Makhzoumi start her career as a pharmacist in Beirut, Lebanon (1975-1977). In the year 1982, she becomes Director, Future Management Services Ltd., London, UK. From 1992 till today she is the chairperson of Future Management Services Ltd., UK.[9] [10] [11] She is actively involved in her philanthropic work and works as Vice President (1997-2000) and as a president of Makhzoumi Foundation (2000-present).[4] From 2001 to 2013 she hold the position of Director of Future Pipe Industries, London, UK.
