Mayinglong ointment is a topical application for the treatment and relief of itching and discomfort associated with hemorrhoids..[1]. It is approved for use in adults and children over 12 years[2] It is a popular hemorrhoid treatment in both China and internationally, in particular in the United States[3]. Mayinglong ointment is distributed in the US by specialty pharmaceuticals company, Trifecta Pharmaceuticals USA, as an over-the-counter (OTC) remedy, available to consumers without a prescription.

Mayinglong ointment contains two active ingredients: petrolatum (78%)[4] and calamine (8%)[5]
