Mayur Shelke (A Real Hero)[edit]
Mayur Shelke, a railway employee who works as a pointsman in Central Railway Station, Mumbai. His recent brave act show on the footage went viral on all social media and received wishes from ministers, departments, and businessmen.
This video shows a child completely lost balance and falls onto a railway track. Mayur runs to help the child on the track and saves the child from a major accident which is few seconds before the train reaches in the same track. This incident was recorded at Vangani Railway Station, Mumbai, and happened around 5 PM on Saturday, April 17, 2021.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal took it to social media and conveyed the wishes for his courageous act. The Ministry of Railways has announced an award of 50,000 for Mayur Shelke, for his courage, presence of mind, and bravery act, disregard of his life rescuing child’s life
