Mbark El Aattach is an Amazigh actor born in 1956 in Douar Idraiss Ihahan Haha_(tribe) province of Essaouira.[1]
Early Life[edit]
He moved to Agadir since he was young, when his parents died, and he grew up in another family. He entered the classrooms at Ibn Battuta School in Agadir, and then continued his studies at Al Wahda School and Abdullah Ibn Yassin School in Inezgane, and obtained a certificate of excellence in 1969. In the same year, he dropped out of studies, to return to his hometown to join one of the madrasa to memorize the Holy Quran for a full year.[2]
Career[edit]
In 1977, Mbark entered the field of art, he participated in the founding of a musical group with the artist Lahcen Bouknana, and then several other groups, such as Inzaf Asfi in 1990, He moved from the musical field to acting, and he took part in his first Amazigh-language film in the year 1993, His career toward stardom began in 2001, When he participated in the movie “Yat or trwas yat” with director Ahmed Badouj and “Romana and Bartal” by Fatima Boubekdi.[3]
