Mckenzie Small (born c. 1999) is a Canadian actress and singer known for her role as Scarlett in the Family Channel teen drama television series Backstage.
On January 5, 2014, Mckenzie and her older cousin Haley Small posted a cover of Beyoncé's "Pretty Hurts" on YouTube. Later, Beyoncé posted the video on her Facebook page. The video now has over a million views.[1]
Small has also appeared on several interviews to promote Backstage, such as in This Morning. In the series, Small performas the songs "Elevator" and "Eyes of the Camera". Small has also released her debut single titled "Caught Feelings". The song was officially released as a single along with a music video on April 22, 2016. Small has posted several covers on YouTube, such as of "Pretty Hurts" and "Burn".
