Md. Jashim Uddin is a Bangladeshi businessman. He is the president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI).[1][2][3] He is the 23rd president of FBCCI.[4] He was declared a Commercially Important Person (CIP) by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. He was the chief of Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BPGMEA) and won National Export Trophy.[5]
Early life & Education[edit]
Jashim Uddin was born in Noakhali District. He was born to his father late Haji Md. Idris Mia and mother late Tahera Begum. He holds a BS in Business.[6]
Career[edit]
Md. Jashim Uddin is currently the vice-chairman of Bengal Group of Industries.[7][8] He is also chairman of Bengal Commercial Bank and Desh General Insurance Company Ltd.
