Me And That Man

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Me And That Man are a European blues band formed in 2017, featuring members such as Adam Darski from extreme metal band Behemoth (band) and formally, British/Polish musician John Porter (British-Polish musician). The band is known to frequently collaborate with artists associated with Hard rock and Heavy metal music such as Corey Taylor from the band Slipknot (band), and Randy Blythe from Lamb of God (band).

History[edit]

In a 2017 interview with Rockhok Online Music Channel, Adam Darski talks about how he has always "flirted"[1] with the creation of blues music but never saw the music as something to pursue further into a professional realm. Prior to Me And That Man, Adam Darski was one of the founding members of blues-influenced stoner rock band 'Wolverine'[2]. In Wolverine, Adam performed vocal and guitar duties under the name 'Howlin' De Ville'. The band released a demo titled 'Million Hells'[3] in 2000 before splitting up. After deciding to start Me And That Man, Adam approached John Porter to ask him to collaborate on the project. He chose to collaborate with Porter due to being a fan of his music, describing him as a 'Polish rock icon'[4], and because of John being a native English speaker. On March 24th, 2017, Me And That Man released their debut record, 'Songs of Love and Death' via Cooking Vinyl. Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck".
