Meaghan Davies
Meaghan Davies is an Australian actress working internationally in film, television, radio, and stage. Based in Australia and the UK until recently, Meaghan Davies has worked on a variety of projects including the new animation series of Bananas in Pyjamas (Series 1 and 2) where she voices Thomasina the Turtle. Davies was formerly the female voice of Cartoon Network and Boomerang (Australasia), until the latter rebranded themselves. It is rumored that Davies had relocated to Los Angeles.
Davies' main body of work to date has been on the stage, performing for Belvoir in five productions, for Queensland Theatre Company, and as the lead role of Lucy in Nadia Tass' musical production of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe". She has also appeared in guest roles on a variety of television shows including At Home With Julia, All Saints, Medivac, and Cushion Kids, and worked with directors including Neil Armfield, Spike Jonze, Nadia Tass, Michael Kantor, Craig Handley, Karl Zwicky, Scott Feeney and Ian Munro.
In September 1998, Davies played alongside Geoffrey Rush in the Beaumarchais play The Marriage of Figaro for the QTC. This was the opening production of the Optus Playhouse, at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre at South Bank in Brisbane.
