Meat N’ Bone is an American butcher shop and meat retailer headquartered in Miami, Florida. Founded in 2018, it operates retail stores, an online ordering platform, and supplies meat to associated restaurants in South Florida.
History
Meat N’ Bone was founded in 2018 by Gabriel Llaurado, Luis Mata, and German Vollbracht.[1] The business began with direct-to-consumer sales through online ordering and delivery. Early operations took place in shared commercial kitchens and fulfillment facilities in South Florida.
The first retail store opened in Miami in 2019, followed by additional locations in Coral Springs, Pinecrest, and Tampa.[2] During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company expanded delivery and cold-storage capacity in response to supply disruptions.[3] In 2020, the company launched a mobile application for order and logistics management.[4]
In 2024, Meat N’ Bone entered a sponsorship agreement with Rick Ware Racing supporting NASCAR driver Kaz Grala.[5]
Operations
Meat N’ Bone sells beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and seafood through retail stores and online orders.[6] All of the beef, pork, poultry, lamb, and game meats sold came from farms in the United States and internationally from Japan and Australia. Its products include packaged items and subscription orders.[2][7][8] Some products are dry-aged and wet-aged, including Japanese Wagyu, USDA Certified Choice and Prime beef, and heritage pork.[9][10][1]
As of 2024, the company operates five retail locations and has processed over 250,000 orders in the United States.[1]
Restaurant concepts
Meat N’ Bone operates affiliated restaurant concepts. The Wagyu Bar opened on Coral Way in Miami and uses the company’s supply chain.[11][12] In 2024, the company opened The Wagyu House in Hallandale Beach, which includes a dining area and a retail counter.[13][14][15][6][3][16]
In 2025, the company announced plans to establish a central distribution hub.[17]
