Mechelle McCain is an American actress, producer and entrepreneur. McCain began her acting career in the movie Fighting Temptations in 2003. McCain began producing Mike Epps: Funny Bidness[1] in 2009. In 2011, McCain worked in the movie 35 and Ticking[2] directed by Russ Parr.
Early life
McCain was born in Houston, Texas, to Aretta Artis and Michael McCain. In 2001, McCain moved from her hometown, Houston, to Los Angeles. McCain became a mother of two daughters in 2005 and 2007. In 2005, McCain married comedian Mike Epps and became a mother[3]. McCain had another child in 2007[4]. In 2017, Mechelle McCain was divorced from comedian Mike Epps.
Career
2003–Present
Mechelle started her career as an actress in the movie Fighting Temptations in 2003. McCain began producing in 2009 for Mike Epps: Funny Bidness[5]. In 2011, McCain was in the movie 35 and Ticking. McCain then went on to produce the Basketball Wives the Movie (trailer) Spoof in 2012. McCain produced Misadventures of a Hollywood housewife in 2013.[citation needed]
