Medal of Honor (comics)
Medal of Honor is a four issue comic book limited series published by Dark Horse Comics from October 1994 through January 1995.[1] Written by Doug Murray, each issue features the stories of several United States soldiers who earned the Medal of Honor during World War II.[1] In addition to the four numbered issues, the series was preceded by an unnumbered issue Medal of Honor: Special in April 1994.[2]
The Medal of Honor special featured wartime experiences from Medal of Honor recipients, Lt. Charles Q. Williams and Cpl. Desmond Doss.[3] The special edition was also written by Doug Murray and each chapter within the edition was illustrated by a different artist. The first chapter, "Night of Hell" was illustrated by Joe Kubert, while the second chapter "The Bible tells me so" was penciled by Steve Lieber.[3] The title was sanctioned by the United States Congressional Medal of Honor Society.[3][4]
