Media Expert - Polish supermarket chain offering audio and video devices, computers, software, multimedia. The first store was opened in Złotów.
Media Expert is a nationwide network of electromarkets. Already in the first years of its operation, it created a sales network throughout Poland, mainly in powiat cities. It is an important advertiser in the local daily press, radio and the Internet.
As of the beginning of 2015, the chain of supermarkets consisted of over 300 stores throughout the country, while on November 30, 2017 - from over 440 stores in 340 cities throughout the country. As of the beginning of 2012, it employed over 5,000 employees, and on November 30, 2017 - approx. 7.5 thousand employees.
In the period from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, TERG together with mutual companies generated revenues of PLN 7.79 billion, which means sales higher by PLN 1.11 billion (+ 16.7%) than in the previous year.
In March 2021, the acquisition by TERG S.A. of all 26 Norauto stores located in Poland was announced.
On May 20, 2021, the 500th Media Expert store was opened in Tarnobrzeg.
The Media Expert Group includes the following companies: TERG S.A., regional companies ME M XX Sp. z o.o. (XX - region number), Art-Dom, ME Invest and POREA. In addition to commercial and service companies, the Media Expert Group also runs the "Enable" Foundation, helping employees and their families in difficult situations.
