Medical Education In Rajasthan

In Rajasthan Medical Education is provided either through standalone colleges which are affliated to some university for granting degree or through University Colleges. Based on their management and ownership there are three types of medical colleges government owned and run , Society Owned and runn , Privately owned and run . During Independence days there was only one medical college in Jaipur but subsequently in coming decade many government run colleges were setup. Around 90s few Privately owned institutions were also setup . Then in 2007 a society medical college was setup in Jhalawar and in 2018 many more such colleges were setup. Currently there are the following medical colleges in Rajasthan :
