Meena Ganesh (born 1963) is a business leader and an entrepreneur with nearly three decades of experience in industries including healthcare, consulting, technology, outsourcing, education and e-commerce.
Early Life and Education
Meena Ganesh was born in Chennai on 31 August 1963. Her father was an engineer in the Indian Railways and her mother was a homemaker. She studied at the Kendriya Vidyalaya – Fort William (Kolkata) and Jawahar Vidyalaya, Chennai, and graduated in Physics in 1983 from Women’s Christian College, Chennai.
Career
Meena started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and NIIT. Then she went on to become the Director of Internet and Application Development Unit at Microsoft.
In 2013, Meena, along with her husband K Ganesh, founded Growthstory, one of India’s largest entrepreneurship platforms.
Board Memberships
She serves on the board of Pfizer India, P&G Limited, Manipal Cigna and Axis Bank. She has been part of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management-Calcutta.
