Meet For Charity is a countrywide Russian charitable organization founded in 2006 by public figure and philanthropist Olga Fler.
History[edit]
During the three years of its existence, the startup raised more than 90 million rubles for philanthropic purposes and began to cooperate with 120 charitable foundations[1].
In June 2017, record deal was the sale of dinner with the Chairman and CEO of Mail.ru Group by Dmitry Grishin for 1.2 million rubles to two founders of IT startups[2]. Many representatives of media, business, culture, sports and politics, in particular Gor Nakhapetyan, Aliona Doletskaya, Anton Belyaev, Nika Belotserkovskaya, Irina Gorbacheva, Dmitry Khrustalev, Alexey Marei, Svetlana Mironyuk, Nikolai Uskov, David Yan, Sergei Kapkov, Kirill Serebrennikov, Avdotya Smirnova, Natalia Sindeeva, Dmitry Ozerov, Nadezhda Obolentseva and others have already taken part in the charity project[3].
The “Meet For Charity” project operates in Russia, Israel, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2018, “Meet For Charity” became a partner of the first award for the best projects of companies in the field of culture, environmental initiatives and charity "Kommersant Initiatives"[4].
