Megapiranha solaris

Megapiranha solaris is an extinct genus of megapiranha found in South America. This giant fish resembled Megapiranha paranensis, but it had sharp teeth that resembled Xiphactinus teeth. This Devonian actinopterygian lived in freshwater lakes in Argentina. It ate other freshwater actinopterygians like Flowerichthys and Puckiorhynchus.
