Mehdi Zilaoui (born 17 July 1993), better known by his stage name Mehdiz, is a Moroccan DJ and record producer from Casablanca, Morocco. He is the resident DJ of different clubs in Casablanca. His track "Get Loose" with Noquest was on the Spotify Top Ten chart and has been supported by EDM DJs such as David Vendetta, Sabrina Terance, Nicky Romero, and Hardwell. Mehdiz specializes in Deep house, progressive house and Trance.
Biography
Mehdiz's career as a professional DJ only started in 2017. At that time, he met DJ Da Joker, another popular Moroccan DJ, who produced Mehdiz's first single "Narayana ". He also started working as a producer when French DJ David Vendetta asked him to remix some of his songs.[1]
In addition to his work as a producer, Mehdiz also hosts a weekly show on Twitch and organizes parties in Marrakech, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and many other cities.[1]
In February 2021, he returned with his single "Get Loose", which was in the top 10 in Morocco's new hits.
