Mehran TV is a popular Sindhi language channel in Pakistan, launched on 1 October 2008, under the network of Indus media link.[1][2] It is the first Sindhi channel broadcasting from Hyderabad, Sindh[3].

History

The first Sindhi satellite channel aired from Hyderabad, primarily dedicated to the people who have an interest in Sindh and its culture living all around the globe, which started regular transmission from 1st of October 2008[5].

Mehran TV brings forth all flavors of rural life for those who want to be gelled in with the modernity of urban life but cherish the simplicity of the village at the same time.

Mehran TV, a hybrid TV Channel, broadcasts news, infotainment, music, and drama[3]. The programs aired on Mehran TV reflect the true culture of Sindh. The only Sindhi Channel Promoting Sindh and its Culture.[6]

Mehran TV is broadcast through Paksat 1R satellite.[7][8]
