Mekki Hamed Mekki
A Sudanese American cab driver, Mekki Hamed Mekki was arrested in September 2002 on claims that he intended to hijack an airliner and fly it into the White House, as a second wave following the September 11th attacks.[1]
He was one of several Sudanese people arrested in the wake of an announcement that a Sudanese Air Force pilot may have come into the United States from Canada.[2]
He was deported.[3]
