MeldaProduction is a Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plugin that was made by Vojtech Meluzin in 2008, It is a company founded in 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic, by Vojtech Melda Meluzin with the aim of providing the deepest and most powerful audio plugins—offering the best sound on the market, an efficient workflow, versatility beyond imagination, and unique features found nowhere else.[1]
Overview
The company develops virtual instruments and effects that operate primarily as DAW plugins for PC and Mac. These virtual instruments and effects utilize Melda Production's proprietary "Plugin Kernel Technology." While plugin software typically operates as discrete, isolated units, the Melda Production Kernel (MPK) allows the plugins to function as interfaces for the GUI and the DAW; even when multiple plugins are running, the MPK centrally manages and executes the actual audio processing across them.[2]
When software improvements, specification changes, or changes in the operating platform occur, the plugin and kernel can be updated separately, significantly saving developers time. As a result, it enables quick adaptation to the latest hardware and software environments. Furthermore, when simulating classic audio equipment, the focus is on reproducing its "behavior," rather than simply imitating the signal-to-noise ratio. The development process prioritizes maximizing the advantages of modern digital audio and extracting the unique characteristics of the original equipment.[3]
