Melissa Chen is a Canadian artist and jewellery designer. She is the founder of Lunar Rain, a fine jewellery brand. She designs jewellery for the brand.[1]
Early life[edit]
She immigrated to Vancouver, Canada when she was 2 years old and grew up in Canada.[2]
Education[edit]
She studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2010-2014) for her BFA. From 2016 to 2018 she studied at the Royal College of Art in London, England for a MA in Painting.[3]
Career[edit]
In 2018 she launched her jewellery brand Lunar Rain.[1] The jewellery brand is inspired by nature with a touch of surrealism and art nouveau. Her creative designs feature dendritic agate gemstones along with baroque pearls, moonstone, amber, malachite and other precious materials surrounded in gold, silver or pearls.[1]
