Melody Feder professionally known as Melody Moko, is an Australian singer-songwriter. Moko has released three studio albums and has won a Golden Guitar Award.[1] and a Queensland Music Award.[2]
Career
Moko was born in Adelaide, South Australia.[citation needed]
In 2017, Moko released her first studio album, The Wreckage, for which she earned a CMC Best New Artist nomination.[citation needed] The album was produced by country music artist and producer, Catherine Britt [3] and producer, Michael Moko.
In September 2020, [4] Moko released her second album Two Kids & A Radio, produced by Neilson Hubbard in Nashville, Tennessee. The album debuted at number 40 on the ARIA Albums Chart.[5].
Moko was nominated for three CMAA Golden Guitar Awards for the 2021 ceremony.[6], winning New Talent of the Year.[1]. Later in 2021, her song "Like Hank Would" was named QMA Country Song of the Year.[2]
Moko released a digital-only live album, Melody Moko Live, in July 2022 [7]. The release was recorded at The Triffid, Brisbane QLD.
In November 2022, Moko released "The Outskirts", the first single from her upcoming third album, Suburban Dream, released in February 2023.
