Memo Paris is a French niche fragrance company founded in Paris in 2007 by Clara Molloy and John Molloy.[1] The company produces eaux de parfum and related products. Its fragrances are marketed under the concept of travel-inspired olfactory compositions.[2] The brand is distributed in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, and the United States, among other markets.[3]
History
Memo Paris was founded in 2007 by Clara Molloy and John Molloy.[1] Clara Molloy serves as creative director; John Molloy oversaw commercial operations from the company's founding.[1] The brand name derives from the French word mémoire (memory).[2]
In 2017, the company marked its tenth anniversary with the launch of a new fragrance.[4]
Marc-André Heller was subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer, succeeding the co-founders in the executive role.[5][6][7][8][9]

Iconics collection
Memo Paris designates six fragrances as its Iconics collection.[2] Each fragrance is named after a geographic location or landmark.
- Odéon
Named after the Odéon district of Paris. The fragrance was relaunched in collaboration with French illustrator Jean Jullien.[10][11][12][13]
- Palais Bourbon
Named after the Palais Bourbon, the seat of the French National Assembly in Paris. Key notes include cardamom essence, vanilla absolute, and oud essence.
- Madurai
Named after the city of Madurai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Key notes include Indian turmeric essence, Sambac jasmine absolute, and peach.
- Marfa
Named after Marfa, Texas, a town in the Chihuahuan Desert known for its contemporary art institutions.[14]
- African Leather
A leather-based fragrance referencing sub-Saharan Africa.[15]
- Irish Leather
A leather-based fragrance referencing the landscapes of Ireland.[15] The fragrance is among the most frequently cited in coverage of Memo Paris in the specialist press.[15][16]
