Mendon High School (also referred to as Mendon Junior/Senior High School) is a public high school in Mendon, Michigan, United States. It is one of eight high schools in the St Joseph County (SJCISD) school district.[2]
History
The original Mendon high school first opened its doors in 1871. The high school moved to the current location in 1976, and the old building was demolished.[3]
Athletics
Mendon's athletic teams are known as the Hornets. Mendon is referred to as "Titletown USA", having won a total of 24 state championships across multiple sports. Most notable are the 11 State Football titles [4][5] and 5 State Girl's Volleyball Titles[6][7] Since the inception of the MHSAA, the Hornets have accumulated

- 131 League Championships
Football Dominance
The Mendon Hornets football program has won a total of 11 state championships and 4 state runner-ups. They currently hold the 8th-best winning percentage in all high school football programs for the state of Michigan[8][9]
