MentalHappy is a wellness organization that provides digital and physical educational products and services.

History[edit]

MentalHappy was officially founded on August 20th, 2015 in West Palm Beach, Florida by Tamar Lucien and Kwame Ampem.[1][2] MentalHappy is currently headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Products & Services[edit]

The Cheerbox[edit]

The Cheerbox, is a customized care package that takes current theories for wellbeing (such as the science of Positive Psychology) and turns them into tangible coping tools. Typical care package items such as candy, cookies, or flowers are not included. This is MentalHappy's flagship product.

MentalHappy Insights[edit]

In 2017, MentalHappy began offering B2B services to larger corporations, large hospitals, school districts, and businesses.  This prompted the launch of MentalHappy Insights, a software as a service (SAAS).[3]

Partnerships[edit]

The National Alliance on Mental Illness or NAMI partnered with MentalHappy in 2017 and featured CEO Tamar Lucien's struggle with anxiety.[4]

The Mighty, an online health community created to "empower and connect people facing health challenges and disabilities" is also a partner of MentalHappy.[5]

Sustainability[edit]

MentalHappy sources products from local artisans throughout the United States.

Giving Back[edit]

MentalHappy provides free psycho-education services for its community in the form of blogs and Facebook Lives.[6]
