Merlin Trebuchet

The Merlin Trebuchet is a type of trebuchet in which the counterweight and the arm fall in a curve.[1][unreliable source?] It was invented by Chris Gerow for the World Championship Pumpkin Chuck.[2]
Design
The original prototype was 500 feet tall, with a counterweight of 400 lb.[citation needed]
History
The Merlin Trebuchet was invented between 2007 and 2008.
