MetaDOS is a free-to-play battle royale game, developed by MetaDOS Inc. and published by DOS Labs for PC, Android and iOS. The game is under development and planned to release in Q2 2023. The game stayed in the Top 5 of the Global Pitching Challenge[2]
Gameplay
MetaDOS is an online-only action-adventure battle royale game played in third person perspective.
A battle royale match consists of up to 120 players jetpacking onto an island in search of weapons and equipment to take down other players. Players are free to choose their starting position and take weapons and supplies to extend their battle life.
When players join a game, they are in a plane which flies over an island. As the plane flies over the island, players can strategically choose where to land away from enemies by jumping out and parachuting down. After landing, they have an amount of time to survive and must then go looking for weapons, utility items and time. Medical equipment, medium and large weapons, grenades, time stations and other items featured can be found throughout the island. The players' objective is to be the sole survivor on the island among a maximum of 120 online players. Achieving this goal involves taking out opponents encountered along the journey. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing the surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.
