MetaX Social is an online social media and social networking service owned by a Filipino company METAX Technologies Inc. Founded on July 31, 2022, by Gerald S. Tiozon. The platform has been described as a hybrid between Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr, with text, image and video posts supported. MetaX Social is rated for ages 16+ and explicit images are permitted, including sexual intercourse, genitalia and nude close-ups. History
Background
Gerald S. Tiozon and his cousins raised the prospect of building a new social media platform based on Web3 after multiple reports of censorship and shadow banning of prominent conservative figures by mainstream social media platforms who were against their political ideologies. They started working on this project on July 31, 2022 and aimed to recreate the ultimate user experience and become the world's dominant social media network.

Infrastructure
The Initial Developer service version of METAX Social is hosted by RightForge, a company aimed at providing internet hosting for conservative causes that describes itself as "The first global Internet infrastructure company committed to American principles online".
On December 15, 2022, MetaX Technologies Inc said it had partnered with the Canadian online video platform Rumble, which will provide cloud services to the MetaX Social service. Also, MetaX engaged the services of Hive, a content moderation company that uses machine learning to filter postings for unacceptable content.
