Metafest is an annual multi-format open-air music festival in Samara Oblast. It is at the same place as Grushinsky festival — site Mastryukovo lakes. The festival appeared in 2007, when numerous musicians performing on different stages of the Grushinsky festival decided to gather at the same place at another time. On the one hand, not to interfere with the festival of bard song, and on the other — not to deprive the Grushinsky's audience of the opportunity to listen to jazz, blues, folk, reggae and instrumental music. The line-up included bands such as Ivan Smirnov, Alexey Arkhipovsky, Z-Star, Billy's Band and Theodor Bastard.
