Metropolis is an upcoming American television series based on the city of the same name appearing in DC Comics. John Stephens and Danny Cannon will serve as executive producers for the series.[1]

The series is scheduled to premier in 2019 on DC's upcoming digital streaming service for a 13 episode run.[1]

Premise[edit]

According to IGN the series will follow Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city’s dark and bizarre secrets.[2]

Development[edit]

The series was announced in 2018 and will be written, and produced John Stephens and Danny Cannon with Cannon directing the Pilot episode. It will be the third series to be released on DC's unnamed digital streaming service.[1]
