Mian Muhammad Saifi Hanafi Mubarak, also known as Mian Sahab Mubarak (1950–Present) is a Sufi Sheikh (Guide) of Naqshbandi Mujaddadi Order, the disciple of Peer e Archi, Akhunzada Saifur Rehman Mubarak(RA). He adheres to Sunni Hanafi school of Islam and teaches spiritual practices according to Naqshbandi Mujaddadi Saifi Order.

While teaching his disciples, he gives Tawajjuh to his disciples during dhikr of Allah which activates their hearts. The vibration of hearts is often visible during the dhikr of Allah, especially during tawajjuh from Shaikh of Naqshbandi Mujaddadi Saifi order. Many of his followers also experience wajad (spiritual ecstasy) during dhikr of Allah individually or in gatherings. The remembrance of Allah in this order is through visualization of the word "Allah", as written on one's own heart and reading it by heart without the engagement of the tongue.

Early life

He was born in a small village named Moza Jutt Mohana Mianwali. Later, the family resided in Kundian, a town of Mianwali District, located in Piplan Tehsil. Mian Sahab Mubarak's father, Ghulam Muhammad, was famous as Lala Molvi Sahab.

Education

Mian Sahab's great grandfather was a real friend of Allah. Maulana Mian Murad Sahab (RA), who is the brother of his grandfather, taught him the Quran. Mian Sahab's parents were experiencing strange incidents since his birth. Visionary men announced his greatness and dignity.

His father was a landowner. He started working in the fields after primary education. Later, he did a job in Chashma Barrage Kundian. On 10 October 1971, he migrated to Ravi Ryan, Tehsil Muridke, Lahore. He continued to go to the shrine of Syed Ali Hajveri Data Ganj Baksh(RA) every Thursday. He remained employed in Ittehad Chemicals for 23 years and purchased a plot in Ravi Ryan for residence. With instructions from his Spiritual teacher, Peer e Archi, Akhunzada Saifur Rehman Mubarak(RA), he purchased another plot attached to his residential plot and built a place for spiritual teachings.

Approach Towards Sufism

Mian Sahab Mubarak is a Sufi Shaikh (Guide) of Naqshbandi Mujaddadi Tariqa. He adheres to Sunni Maturidi belief and practices the Hanafi school of Islam. Mian Sahab Mubarak, as a disciple of Akhundzada Saif-ur-Rahman Mubarak(RA), is also famous for the activation of hearts where the clear vibration of the heart and Wajad (spiritual ecstasy) is visible during dhikr (Remembrance of Allah Almighty). Many people have accepted Islam and many have left evil and corrupt deeds through his spiritual training.

Mian Sahab Mubarak started the gatherings of dhikr and spiritual lessons from the place he purchased initially for this purpose in Ravi Ryan, Lahore. The number of disciples increased day by day. Every disciple absorbed an enlightenment of spirituality which inspired his surroundings and he brought a crowd with him to sit in the gatherings of dhikr in front of Mian Sahab Mubarak(RA). Many corrupt persons accepted the way of Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad(SAAW) through his teachings. Robbers left robbery and started adhering to dhikr of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet(SAWW). Disbelievers, who had now returned to the eternal truth, narrowed the ways on the streets due to their desire to learn spirituality more and more. Finally, Mian Sahab Mubarak arranged gatherings of dhikr in the central mosque located at Ravi Ryan Mill.

After two years, the disciples consulted with each other to buy a wider area for dhikr gatherings and a bigger mosque due to the continuous increase in the number of people who desired to purify their souls. The place which was bought for Astana Shareef was the residential area of disbelievers. When they sat in the gatherings of dhikr, the spiritual vision of Mian Sahab Mubarak changed their hearts and they accepted Islam. They broke their marital relations with non-Muslims and remarried Muslims. People had appointed guards in the area before Astana Shareef was built. With the rising number of disciples in the area and the spirituality and piousness of Mian Sahab Mubarak, thieves and robbers were hindered from engaging in crimes in the area.

Sufi Orders

Mian Muhammad Hanafi Saifi took oaths of allegiance in the four major Sufi orders named as Naqshbandi, Chishti, Soharwardi, and Qadriya in the hands of Sarkar Akhunzada Saif ur Rehman Mubarak.
