Michael Brooke(1942 – 8 June 2014) was an English lawyer and judge. He was called to the bar of England and Wales in 1968, and became a Queen’s Counsel in 1994. Brooke became a Circuit Judge in 2004, before retiring in 2010. He died in 2014.
Early life and studies[edit]
Brooke was born in London in 1942. His parents were the wartime BBC radio announcer Reginald Brooke (who used the stage name Michael Brooke) and the actor Beryl Brooke (who used the stage name Beryl Riggs).
Brooke appeared in a number of films as a child actor. These included The Long Arm in 1956 and The Secret Place in 1957. X
