Michael C. Taylor is an American attorney and politician who has served as the mayor of Sterling Heights, Michigan since 2014.[1]
Early life and Education[edit]
Taylor was born and raised in Macomb Township, Michigan, where he attended Lutheran High School-North. Taylor earned a B.A. in economics from Kalamazoo College, and a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.[2]
Career[edit]
Before his election to the position of mayor, Taylor served as a member of the Sterling Heights City Council after being elected in 2009. After mayor Richard Notte died in office, Taylor was elected to fill his vacancy.[3][4] He also supports accessibility measures and enhanced recreational facilities for the public.[5][6]
