Mike Winston (born September 8, 1976) is an American entrepreneur and business executive. He is the founder and executive chairman of Jet.AI Inc., a publicly traded data center and artificial intelligence infrastructure company, and the chairman and chief executive officer of AI Infrastructure Acquisition Corp., a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) focused on artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure assets.[1][2]

Winston is known for his leadership roles in finance, private aviation, and artificial intelligence infrastructure, including overseeing Jet.AI’s strategic transition from aviation services to data center operations in 2025.[3]

Early life and education

Winston was born on September 8, 1976.[1] He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University in 1999 and spent part of his studies at the London School of Economics.[4] He later received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Columbia Business School in 2005.[4]

Early in his career, Winston demonstrated entrepreneurial interest when his first startup was awarded a $1 million prize in IBM’s “Great IBM Giveaway” competition for a technology venture he developed while at Cornell University.[1]

Mike Winston began his professional career in 1999 as a securities analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston and later served as a portfolio manager at Millennium Partners LP.[1][4]

Sutton View Group

In 2012, Mike Winston founded Sutton View Group, an alternative asset management and advisory platform. Through Sutton View, he provided advisory services to institutional investors, including one of the world’s largest academic endowments, and engaged in activist investing.[4]

His activist investing activities included co-leading a challenge to the management-led buyout of Dole Food Company, which resulted in a 35% increase in total consideration to public shareholders.[4]

Jet Token Inc. and Jet.AI Inc.

In 2018, investor Mike Winston founded 'Jet Token Inc., a private aviation membership and booking company headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1] He has served as executive chairman since its founding.

In 2023, Jet Token completed a business combination with a Nasdaq-listed SPAC and became publicly traded as Jet.AI Inc.. Winston continued as executive chairman and serves as interim chief executive officer.[3]
