Michael Gold (born April 3rd, 1979 in Massapequa, NY) is an American academic in emerging technology.[1][2][3] He is the producer and technical director of interactive virtual reality experiences and a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He is also the inventor of an apparatus for a shoe which provides information to a remote computing device having a user application.[4]
