Michael H. Forde was born on September 3, 1994, in Brooklyn, New York City. He spent part of his childhood in New York before later relocating to Clayton, North Carolina. Forde attended Johnston County Middle College High School in Smithfield, North Carolina, where he graduated at age 16 through an accelerated academic program.
During his senior year of high school, Forde was named a recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship, a highly competitive national award that provides full funding for undergraduate and graduate education to students demonstrating academic excellence, leadership, and community service. Forde earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Southern Adventist University in 2014 at the age of 19. He later completed a Master of Science in Public Health at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
