Michael A. "Mike" Papierski is an American Independent Catholic bishop in the AACOU.

The biography on his LinkedIn profile reads:

"Bishop Michael Papierski entered the ministry in September 1983. After 4 intensive years of training he was ordained to the Priesthood on 22 March 1987 by The Most Rev. Benton Montgomery. Bishop Michael has worked over the years with several people through his ministry helping to bring them to the light of Christ.

"After leaving New York State and moving to the Philadelphia metropolitan area, he continued his work and became Vicar in 1993 and Vicar General in 1995, by the Most Rev. Benton Montgomery.

"Bishop Michael continued to work with multiple generations through his secular employment as well as outside of it. Bishop Michael has served on several boards involving significant fundraising for charitable contributions whereby the entire proceeds went to those in need, and no expenses were pulled from the charity. Bishop Michael has also served as a chaplain for a variety of groups and continues in that role today. Bishop Michael has since been moved to The Phoenix Metropolitan area, whereby he continues his ministry and travels back to the Central New York, and Philadelphia Metro area in order to support his parishes there on a regular basis.

"St. John's Old Catholic Church, located in Utica, New York, in addition to several other churches, are currently under the protection of Bishop Michael. In addition, Bishop Michael's jurisdiction also includes Arizona and New Mexico. Bishop Michael still continues to maintain a motorcycle ministry with many people, through which a mentoring program is established and used."
