Dove & Globe: Globe (World); Loving fidelity and peace for all. The Holy Spirit (Dove); Dove with an olive branch in its bill, signifies the Holy Spirit, Peace and sign of good tidings.

Lamb of God: Gentleness and patience under suffering. Carrying a staff and banner with a cross faith, innocence, bravery, gentleness, purity and a resolute spirit.

St. Benedict & Medal: Medal is used to ward off spiritual and physical dangers, especially those related to evil, poison, and temptation. Carrying the medal is to call down God's blessing and protection upon us, wherever we are, and upon our homes and possessions, especially through the intercession of St. Benedict. By the conscious and devout use of the medal, it becomes, as it were, a constant silent prayer and reminder to us of our dignity as followers of Christ.

Galero: The ecclesiastical hat called a galero, a pilgrim's hat like a sombrero is viewed heraldically as specifically "catholic / universal”

Cross: The display of a cross on the shield is restricted to bishops as a mark of their dignity.

Tassels: The tassels are represented as knotted cords six on each side for the office of Bishop..

Blue Pall: Blue highlights, truth and loyalty.

Motto: Personal philosophy, statement of belief. “Listen and attend with the ear of your heart” – Rule of Saint Benedict (prologue verse 1)
