Michael Wardle is a British tv, film & theatre actor, training at Guildford School of Acting in the 1960s. He is known for his roles in Withnail and I, (Parkin, the farmer) and I'm Alan Partridge, (Gordon, Lynn's boyfriend).

In 2017 Michael filmed a leading role in the independent feature film, A Little in Tents, after touring it as a stage play since 2012. The role was written specifically for Michael.

Michael can be seen in the annual tv commercial for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.

He lives in North Yorkshire with his wife, Sonia.
