Michael White is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist and film score composer.

White was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Toronto, Ontario. Known for his work as a trumpet player with Lonely Universe, King Brand Valium, Hugh Marsh, Mary Margaret O'Hara and Bruce Cockburn. As a session musician, he works on film and television series with many renowned artists including: Andrew Lockington, Jon Goldsmith, David Buckley, Christophe Beck, Joe Trapanese and Harry Gregson-Williams. As a composer, he has scored a number of shorts, documentary and feature films. Most notable among these are the Oscar-Winning short Ryan (2004) by Chris Landreth and the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards nominated Best Original Feature Length Score for "Hevn" by Kjersti Steinsbø.
