Michelle Herbert (born 11 May 1965) is a former teenage actress, best known for playing Trisha Yates in the first five series of the long-running BBC school drama series Grange Hill. A series regular until 1981, Herbert's role in the 1982 series was limited to just one appearance. She reprised the role of Trisha in the final episode of the Grange Hill spin-off, Tucker's Luck in 1985.[1]
Personal life[edit]
Herbert was born in Islington and she has a brother. She attended Islington Green School and Anna Scher Theatre School alongside contemporary Grange Hill actor, Terry Sue Patt.
As of 2015[update] Herbert lives in Dundee with her husband and daughter. The couple run a glazing business.[2]
