Michelle Romero
Michelle Romero is the current mayor of the City of Henderson, Nevada. Mayor Romero was elected into office in June 2022 and took the Oath of Office on January 3rd, 2023.[1][2] As Mayor, Michelle Romero is also on the Board of Directors for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, and Civilian Military Alliance where she represents the City of Henderson.[1]
Career
Prior to being sworn in as Mayor of Henderson, Michelle Romero served as the City of Henderson for twenty-five years. She served as the Henderson Redevelopment Agency Manager (2007 - 2016) and represented Ward 1 on the city council for Henderson (2019).[1] [2]
Mayor Henderson was sworn into office on January 3rd, 2023.[1]
Personal Life
Michelle Romero is married to Ben Romero. The couple have been wed since 1986, they have four sons and eleven grandchildren.
