Michitaro Tanaka (田中 美知太郎, Tanaka Michitarō, September 20, 1899 – October 18, 1973) is a Japanese philosopher, scholar of western classics and translator of the complete works of Plato in Japanese. He spent much of his career as a professor of philosophy at Kyoto University.
