Mickey Cuts Up is a Mickey Mouse short animated film first released on November 25, 1931, as part of the Mickey Mouse film series.[1] The film is well-known for being one of the most well-known Mickey Mouse shorts.[2]
Plot
Mickey mows his yard with a reel mower pulled by Pluto, while next door Minnie waters her garden. Mickey tricks Minnie by pretending to be a bird in a bird house, but instead he gets attacked by a cat. While Mickey and Minnie are playing a harmonica duet, Pluto chases after the cat, but the mower is still tied to him and it cuts up everything in its path.
Critical response
Mickey Cuts Up has received mostly positive critical response,[3] becoming a popular Mickey Mouse short.[4]
