Middlesex University Dubai is a private university launched in 2005 and is the first extension of Middlesex University London abroad into the Middle East region. The Dubai campus had enrolled over 3,200 students, and houses a 100 diverse nationalities, as of 2020 and through the years.[1] The university offers 6 schools and over 14 different fields of study mentioned below aswell.[2]
In 2017, the university hosted the EU and UAE conference regarding the Rule of Law and Arbitration, where the Head of Delegation of the European Union to the United Arab Emirates, along with the legal director of Clyde & Co and the head of advocacy of Taylor Wessing were present.[3]
The campus is situated in Dubai Knowledge Village as a joint venture with Middlesex associates[4] but had rumors of moving to Dubai International Academic City in search of more housing room for the growing number of students.[5] In 2020, the university decided upon refurbishing and expanding the campus in order to accommodate more students and include new programs. [6]
In August of 2019, the university was chosen to be a partner of the PRCA in the Middle East and North Africa region.[7]
