Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co.

Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. is a brewery and taproom in Waltham, MA. The brewery began operations in 2011 when two friends, Henry Manice and Naveen Pawar decided to create a beer with more protein than ever before. They started home-brewing before eventually taking their activities to a real brewery in 2013. The co-founders bought a home brewing system and started firing on all cylinders to brew a delicious, protein-filled beer. Henry said, “It has been a brewer’s top priority for the past 12,000 years to remove barley protein from beer because of the effects it has on the stability of beer.” This was a very difficult task and they made thousands of prototypes in the kitchen before finally brewing a flavorful and refreshing beer that contains four grams of true protein. On December 7th of 2018, Mighty Squirrel opened a Brewery and Taproom on Waverly Oaks Rd in Waltham, only a few minutes from Bentley’s campus. They have beer on tap and you can purchase cans to go. Their taproom is available for events of up to 200 people and they even have an indoor rock climbing wall!
