Latisev Mihail Maksimovich (born 20 November 2003) is a Moldovan judoka, 2022 world junior champion. Participant of many international judo competitions, representing the Republic of Moldova.

In August 2022, Mihail won his first major international medal, and a title of the world judo junior champion in Guayaquil, Ecuador.[1] Mihail Latisev is currently[when?] ranked #1 in the junior world ranking list and #30 in the senior ranking according to the International Judo Federation World Ranking List. [2] Mihail's father brought him to judo when he was 6 years old. Despite his young age, he was very strong and active from a young age.[citation needed] In 2021 he won his first medal at the international circuit, bronze at the European Judo Cup in Bucharest, Romania.[3]

After winning the junior world title in Ecuador,[4][5] Mihail started competing at the international senior circuit. Performing at the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, he managed to get on the podium with a silver medal. [6][7]
