Mike Crispi (Born April 10, 1993) is an American conservative political commentator, talk show host and former New Jersey congressional candidate. He began his career with Right Side Broadcasting Network as a reporter and TV host before running for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Jersey's 4th congressional district.[1] Following the campaign, Crispi signed as a host with Salem Media Group to host "Mike Crispi Unafraid," one of the most popular podcasts streaming on Rumble.com, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. [2]

Early life and education

Crispi was raised in Dix Hills, New York and excelled as an American football player during high school.[3] Crispi earned a football scholarship to Elon University where he was the starting Long Snapper for the Elon Phoenix from 2011 to 2015.[4] He graduated in 2015 with a degree in Strategic Communications and Political Science.

Following college, Crispi moved to New Jersey where he began a successful business career and began to pursue political activism. Crispi was a volunteer for Donald J. Trump for President as early as 2015. He became involved in local New Jersey politics in 2016.[5]

Broadcasting career

In 2020, Crispi began a show called "Red White & Truth" which broadcasted on Right Side Broadcasting Network. [6] Crispi's show became the most popular weekly broadcast on the network and he soon expanded his role to include doing live coverage at Trump rallies, CPAC, TurningPoint USA, and other grassroots conservative events across the country. [7] He has interviewed dozens of prominent national conservatives and elected office holders. Crispi announced in January 2022 he would be leaving Right Side Broadcasting to launch a campaign for US Congress in New Jersey's 4th District.

Following his congressional primary defeat to incumbent Congressman Chris Smith, Crispi announced he would return to broadcasting and start a daily program called "Mike Crispi Unafraid." Crispi's show began broadcasting on Rumble.com and quickly became one of the most popular daily shows on the platform. In January 2023, Crispi signed an agreement to become a national host with Salem Media Group and announced his show would air on The Salem Podcast Network.[8]

Political views

Crispi has stated his political ideology is based on the rise of Donald Trump.[9] He regards himself as right-wing conservative and often refers to himself as a "populist." He has cited his favorite member of the Senate as Rand Paul and his favorite member of the House as Jim Jordan. Crispi has publicly advocated for limited government, a flat tax, constitutional carry, and an immigration moratorium.[10] Crispi has been an outspoken critic of foreign wars and sending foreign aid to other nations. At times, Crispi has been criticized for spreading conspiracy theories. He has appeared on Tucker Carlson's program to oppose US involvement in the war in Ukraine.[11]
