Mike Kaye is an EMMY(R) nominated^, award-winning, graphic artist and comic book creator^. His comic artwork has been auctioned off through St. Francis Food Pantries, Doodle For Hunger, Celebrity Art Charity Auctions^. An article featuring a photo of Kaye asks, "Can Other Comic Books Save Real People?" in the Broward Palm Beach New Times. Mike was featured on WBEC, a local television station of Broward County Public Schools where he received an award for his creation of the centennial logo celebrating one hundred years of public schooling in Broward County, Florida. The award ceremony aired on June 15, 2016 during a televised, special presentation. His on-air appearance starts at 20:24secs.^

Amphoman Presents was a comic strip series first published in the Broward Community College Observer, a bi-weekly newspaper with the first publication date of February 20, 1995.^ The character Bleash The Fair-Feathered Warrior also made his debut in the same paper, the same day, in the Editorial section.^ Amphoman characters are protected by 31 copyrights.^ The character Trixie appears in some of the Amphoman books and is based on the creator's own pet. Trix appears at the intro of a BECON television series called, "Take Paws". Trix is a black poodle.

Kaye is a lunchbox enthusiast featured in news for creating the three point grading system for vintage metal lunchboxes^.

On September 16, 2013 WebTalkRadio interviewed Mike Kaye about his comic book creations^. Kaye was compared to a young Stan Lee at the start of his career^.

Kaye's comics mentioned Cancer before his own bout with melanoma.^
