Mike Peters (ex-professional rugby player, actor)
Mike Peters is a retired English rugby player who started his career in rugby league playing for the Wigan Warriors in the late 1990’s. He also played Super League for the Warrington Wolves in 2000 (ref 2) before switching codes to play rugby union for the Bridgend Ravens (ref 3) in the Welsh Premiership, the Celtic League and the European Championship Cup.
Mike also pursued an interest in acting, appearing in popular TV series’ Hollyoaks and Brookside. Mike also played the part of bodyguard to Sean Bean’s lead character in the film ‘Extremely Dangerous’ which was adapted to a TV series (ref 4)
